Simply Digital Digest - Tues May 20
This week we round off the Facebook discussion with a collection of ads claimed to have been run by the Russians on Facebook since mid-2015.  This article by the Washington Post provides an interesting demonstration of how the theory of social manipulation look in action - and how persuasive a combination of the right data and the right message can really be. Conversely, it is allegedly unreliable data that is being cited by advertisers as the reason for their planned reduction in spend. It remains to be seen whether this is a coincidently timed genuine concern or an attempt to distance themselves and their clients spends. Finally - Uber’s flying cabs. Who knew?
As always, if there are topics that you would like deciphered, we are up for the challenge - please feel free to drop us a note.
